So had a nice typical sunday breakfast with friends. I was deciding i should head home wen Terraluna stopped me and asked me..."WHY? WHy go home? dont go home and play video games! its a nice day, your on Saratoga, take your motorcycle and heat west! GO see the ocean. Go see the top of the mountain while you are still able to."

SO i did and it was the best day ive had in a long while. I took some pics and made a lil gallery. I basically hit the mountains and made a stop at Alice's restaurant. The sights were amazing. The smell was something i haven't smelled in ages. Redwood forest. its wonderful!

So when i got there DUCATI was giving free rides on their newest bike. Unforts the didn't like the fact i didn't have proper boots. Blah keep your dumb ducati. My Honda is just fine ;)

Anyway enjoy the pics. Im sure a bunch of locals will recognize these spots of local interest. :)

So i posted a lil bit ago ive been going back to finally watch LOST. ALL of it. so now im about 3/4 through season 2.

first off i have to say that there must seriously be a law against any one show being this friggin awesome. seriously i havent seen a TV show this good in forever! my god! mind blown over and over and over again, but tonight, the 2 episodes i watched just sent my mind ablaze with awesome twisted...AWESOMENESS!

so yeah no spoilers please to those that have watched it up to today. I just wanted to see who else has been watching? Its seriously so SOO damn good. I think i like it more than BSG. (sorry fellow geeks, LOST just has me far more engrossed than BSG did.)

but what ive seen so far, ill be vague to keep spoilers down, but just so you know why im so damn impressed and buzzing now. I just saw:

1. The hieroglyphs
2. The black light diagram

damn i love LOVE this show! If you haven't seen it, please do yourself a HUGE favor and watch it. its all online for free on abc.com. seriously best TV show in decades.

At first i thought it fake but apparently these two are from a zoo and are a big attraction of sorts there. new shows and good laughs

So as per my daily evening ritual i sat down to watch some TV online. AS you may or may not know, between abc.com, hulu.com, and joost.com, you can pretty much watch any tv you want at any time, with every show. Its pretty cool.

So im chillin, rollin my daily batch of smoke when i go to ABC to watch lost and see 2 new shows. WIPEOUT and I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAME SHOW.

WIPEOUT was fun. its basically an american version of MXC for those aware of that show. Contestants run an obstacle course with ridiculous obstacles with often hilarious events. The commentators are funny not as much as the ones iin MXC but certainly passable! VERY FUN.

Now right after that i watched I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAME SHOW. This show ROCKS! holy crap i laughed HARD! Basically a group of people are told that they are going to be on a reality TV show. THey are all psyched and then are almost literally kidnapped and flown to Tokyo! WIthout a clue whats going on or what they are getting into, they are walked onto the stage of a Japanese game show and expected to perform. the prize is 250,000. not bad!
What ensues is pure Japanese awesome comedy awesomeness. The Host is quite awesome, and is quick to point out how silly the americans look doing these events. Its just such an amusing look at both Japanese game shows and Japanese culture in general as between events they are taken through Tokyo and learn the customs. The winners by taking tours in a helicoptor and shown the sights, the losers...well they too get to se the sights, by running a rickshaw for 2 hours. Its hilarious. Especially the lil 90 pound girl that ends up running with a sumo wrestler in her rickshaw. its insanity its cool and its funny as hell. HIGHLY recommend this show!

since everyone is having fun with the spore creature creator, already new terms to specific types of creatures has been created.

Creatures actually seen that fall into this category include:

Wangmonster
boobaliscious
penisaurus rex
goatsie (yes someone made a goatsie alien ;P )

You get the idea these are all instances of "SPORN"
Yes "SPORN" I laughed at that for a good while.
So kiddos, get to making that "SPORN" but don't post it... There have been bannings already ;)

damn dirty furs... i took off my jacket.. its hot in here!

Anyways on the 17th the SPORE creature creator comes out! GET IT! if your getting spore you must get this! Theres a demo download for it as well on the same day.

NO its not free. but its not full retail either. But i figure this is their way of populating the universe before the official game comes out in September.

Lets do out best to make SPORE a FURRY UNIVERSE!!! ;)

Thats awesome! it would appear that YES MARVEL is going for ultimate super hero crossover universe alliance here and its gonna be fuggin awesome! WOOT!!!

Tony Stark to general talking about the hulk: "I hear you have an unusuall problem!" to which the general replys "You should talk!"

Just look for the new trailer this is a grand awesome omen of things to come from marvel! ;)

Califur...Fail?

So i figure everyones out and on journals slamming CF08. Well yeah the con...it sucked ass. but then ive been to three of them and really they really arent that good to begin with but heres my report for those that might wanna have a read.

The con itself was pretty much blah. But then i dont attend panels or anything other than the dance. Con staf failed there i think... but thats only by a glance perception of the con as a whole.

The hotel DID NOT want us there. plain and simple. Blame con staff? Naw, they couldn't have known that would become an issue. putting up partitions was embarrassing but oh well, so is dressing up like an animal and dry humping one another (which i think is just fun dandy activity honesty) ROFL...

Badge Natzi's: OK yeah it was pretty terrible on DAY 1...but with enough complaints i was told and assured the more offensive badge natzis were asked to give up the ego booster (i mean radio) and leave. YES!!! WOOT! justice served! Day two was much easier to put on suit and attend the dance.

hotel rooms...small. not much else to be said. Double tree still rocks my world as best con hotel.

THE MAIN POINT TO ALL OF THIS: While its pretty much a tiny con with only just a bit to offer, i go to califur and will continue SUPPORTING it for this simple reason... FRIENDS. We go there to meet up, chill, fursuit, drink and have fun! seriously when i see people hanging out and having fun, suiting aroudn and really beaming with smiles, i find it kinda odd that theyd turn right around and say the con sucks. Well the con does suck, but having a place to meet up with soCal Furs once a year, relax and enjoy just being with furry friends...that to me is PRICELESS, and that is why ill keep going to Califur. Its a fun con and a wonderful opportunity to keep in touch with very good friends :)

SO....was califur a failure? yes. Did i have fun? HELL YES :)

Now we all know how ridiculous Bollywood movies and Indian music videos can be, but who knew they be this funny just by adding subtitles!
